Intersolar Europe 2013: Starker Auftritt der Branche

Around 50,000 visitors from over 150 countries streamed through Intersolar Europe on the grounds of Messe München over the past three days.
A total of 1,330 exhibitors from 47 countries presented their technologies and services from the areas of “photovoltaics”, “PV production technology”, “energy storage” and “solar thermal” in 12 exhibition halls and an outdoor area on 121,000 square meters of exhibition space. In 2013, 53 percent of the exhibitors came to Intersolar Europe from abroad. With 608 exhibitors, Germany was most strongly represented. This is followed by China with 242, Italy with 59, Austria with 40 and Spain with 29 companies.
The proportion of visitors from abroad was around 44 percent this year, which is again higher than in the previous year. The internationality of the fair was additionally strengthened by high-caliber international delegations and numerous country pavilions, including the appearances of Morocco and Egypt, which was represented in this form for the first time at Intersolar Europe.
